Tasha McClain is a native of Alexandria, LA and has been conducting genealogy research for almost 20 years. She focuses her research on Louisiana, Arkansas, and Florida. She is passionate about preserving and sharing the stories of our ancestors. She earned her M.S. in Library Science from the University of North Texas and her B.A. in Sociology from Northwestern State University. She is currently a library director and in her spare time she enjoys traveling to historical sites and reading about African American history.
