I'm a Historical Anthropologist/Archaeologist who's passionate about African American history and heritage. I have spent many years conducting research related to African Americans, especially in Louisiana, where I have ancestral ties to central Louisiana. I've also assisted historic sites in revising their narratives, developing new exhibits, implementing historical programs, hosting presentations, and conducting archaeological research. I have a theatre and film background and have written and produced historical content focusing on African American history. I am also PhD candidate at Louisiana State University, and expect to graduate in 2023.
I am honored to utilize my background and experience to help preserve and promote African American history in central Louisiana and beyond.
